Privacy notice
This notice explains, in plain English, what Stillgloss Detailing does with the details you send us through this website. We keep it simple: we only collect what we need to reply to you, and we don't sell your details.
What we collect
Quote request form (home page): your name, phone number, email address, suburb, vehicle make and model, vehicle size, the package you're interested in, your preferred date, and anything you write in the message box.
Review form (reviews page): your name, suburb, an optional star rating, your review, an optional photo of your car, and whether you agreed to us publishing your review and photo.
If you call, text or WhatsApp us, or email us directly, we'll also have whatever you send us that way.
Why we use it
- To reply to your quote request, confirm a price and a time, and do the job you booked.
- To check a review is genuine and, only if you ticked the consent box, publish it on our reviews page. We show your first name and last initial (for example "Sam T."), your suburb and your review, and your photo if you sent one. We remove location data from photos before any are published.
We don't use your details for marketing unless you ask us to, and we don't sell or rent them to anyone.
Where your details go
- Netlify (USA), the company that hosts this website, receives and stores what you send through the forms, including review photos.
- Form submissions are checked for spam by Akismet (USA), Netlify's spam filter.
- A copy of each form submission is emailed to our inbox, stillglossdetailing@outlook.com (a Microsoft Outlook account).
- If you contact us on WhatsApp, that conversation is handled by WhatsApp.
- Only the people who run Stillgloss Detailing can see your details.
How long we keep it
We delete enquiries on request: just ask (see below). Published reviews stay up until you ask us to remove them.
Website analytics
This website doesn't use analytics or advertising cookies. The map uses map tiles from Esri, and the fonts come from Google Fonts, so those services see your browser's IP address when the page loads.
We use Google Analytics to see how many people visit the site, which pages they look at, and how many quote requests are sent. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information such as your device and browser type, approximate location (from your IP address) and the pages you visit. It doesn't tell us who you are, and we don't send your form details to Google. You can opt out with Google's browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, or by blocking cookies in your browser.

Seeing, correcting or deleting your details
You can ask us what details we hold about you, ask us to correct them, or ask us to delete them (including taking down a published review or photo). Just get in touch:

Changes to this notice
If we change how we handle your details, we'll update this page and the "last updated" date at the top.
